Crashing

After catching his wife in a compromising position, aspiring comedian Pete attempts to seek solace in a New York Comedy club; he befriends the cynical comedy legend Artie Lange.

In exchange for a ride to Albany, Artie offers to let Pete be his opening act; Pete tries preventing Artie from breaking his sobriety.

T.J. and Pete travel upstate for his wife's garage sale where he teams up with an unexpected ally and gets a prized possession back; Jess expresses her true feelings.

Wanting stage time, Pete agrees to spend the entire night handing out fliers for a comedy club; on the streets, he encounters disinterested locals and winds up engaging in a turf war.

When Pete's parents decide to celebrate his mother's birthday in New York, Pete begs Jess to join them to keep up the appearance that they're still married.

Pete meets Sarah Silverman, who takes pity on him and invites him to stay with her stray comedians; Artie Lange asks Pete to be a featured guest on his podcast; Pete is offered a possible job opportunity.
