Matt Ruskin

Matt Ruskin is a writer/director/producer committed to making socially relevant films. Ruskin's feature documentary, The Hip Hop Project, was released in theaters nationwide by THINK Film and aired on the Sundance Channel. While studying film at NYU, Ruskin worked for Darren Aronofsky on Requiem for a Dream. Ruskin was a consulting producer on the Sundance documentary William Kunstler: Disturbing the Universe and is developing a dramatic feature based on his life story (penned by Oscar nominated writers Jeremy Pikser and Walter Bernstein). Ruskin’s narrative feature debut, Booster, received a Special Jury Prize at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival.
